Nina Holzer is the Director of Financial Mobility with CHN Housing Partners, where she provides programmatic leadership, service coordination, and staff management for CHN’s Financial Mobility Center. A macro social worker and Northeast Ohio native, Nina is passionate about housing and economic justice. Prior to joining CHN, she served as Program Manager in the City of Cleveland’s Community Development Department, where she oversaw the development and launch of the City’s Healthy Homes Initiative. Additionally, Nina has worked as Manager of CDC Advancement with Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and as a Researcher & Project Manager with the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development at Case Western Reserve University.
Nina is a member of the City of Cleveland’s Board of Zoning Appeals, the Hebrew Free Loan Association board, and the Cleveland VOTES Advisory Committee (where she serves as Finance Committee chair). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Ohio University, as well as a Master of Science in Social Administration and a Master of Nonprofit Organizations from the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. She currently lives in the city of Cleveland's Clifton-Baltic neighborhood with her fiancé and their dog.
