The Cuyahoga County Down Payment Assistance Program is an effort to support homeownership for Cuyahoga County residents whose income is in the low to moderate range.

About the Program

  • Eligible homebuyers can receive down payment assistance in the amount of 10% of the purchase price, with a maximum purchase price of $141,000.00.

 

  • Homebuyer will be responsible for a minimum 3% contribution towards the purchase. The assistance is provided in the form of a deferred second loan on the home, and the full amount of assistance will be repaid upon sale, transfer or refinance of the home.

 

  • The first mortgage lender must be on the OHFA-approved lender list. Click HERE to visit OHFA's site for a list of approved lenders.

Step 2: Download the program's brochure for more information and full eligibility requirements.

Step 3: Download, print and fill out the program's application.

Step 4: Return your completed application to CHN.
